shivers

I get them from a countless number of things.

The first and foremost cause, i'll get out of the way right now. Peeing. Now i know that if you've known me for a while, this will have been the hundredth time you've heard me talking about pee shivers (the PS if you will), but believe it or not, there are still some people out there who deny their urinal convulsions. I will bravely admit, that yes, nearly every time i pee, i shiver afterwards. Why? I still don't know... actually i've been meaning to look that up, but i'm not really sure what kind of google results i would get back if i searched "pee shivers". When i ask my guy friends about their PS, their facial expression flips instantly from having been passive and emotionless to compassionate, and understood.

Justin: so uh... have you ever shivered after you peed?
Friend: oh my god! of course! i've been waiting all my life for someone to confront me about it. I'm not alone!
Justin: we must spread the word.

Unfortunately, this kind of exchange only occurs when i talk to my guy friends about the PS. With girls it goes a little more like the following.

Justin: i know you shiver after you pee, don't even try to deny it. *accusatory squinty eyes*
Girl: what are you talking about... *red in the face, thumbs twiddling, head tilted downwards*

Girls, let me tell you right now, there is nothing to be ashamed of. Rather, it's something to be proud of! Multitudes of people i know have the PS and aren't afraid to admit it. In fact, i might go so far as to say people will respect you even more if you admit that you get them! Take this oppourtunity; stand proud and proclaim to the world your pride in PSing. Whether you're a boy, or a girl, leave your mark, leave your lonely pee shivering days behind and post a comment so that everyone may see. I am a PSer and i am proud.

Another thing that definitely gives me the shivers is when Canada wins the gold for men's hockey. When Crosby scored that winning goal for Canada in overtime, i got the chills. I got them bad. I couldn't sit still. I jumped out of my chair with a huge smile and turned to my left to give a great big man hug to... oh yeah i was home alone. But that didn't make me enjoy it or shiver any less. At that moment, there was nothing i wanted to do more than ask Crosby to marry me. I had to settle for shivering wildy by myself in my tiny room/closet.

when your muscles betray you, and cause you to involuntarily spazz... juspoko!
